Florida is a forerunner state. Over the last months and weeks, not only has God birthed faith in my heart to believe that abortion can be overturned in our day...but I have faith that the church in Florida will be alive, bold, obedient and full of power. I’ve read so many accounts of historical revival over the years, but recently I have come to believe that not only is it possible here, it’s our destiny.
Isaiah 42
10 Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it,the coastlands and their inhabitants… 12 Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastlands. 13 The Lord goes out like a mighty man, like a man of war he stirs up his zeal; he cries out, he shouts aloud, he shows himself mighty against his foes. 16 And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.
For the first time I read this as a prophetic promise and desire in the Lord’s heart to hear a new song from the coastlands. For nearly a decade I have prayed for a revival to come to Orlando, but in one moment I knew the Lord’s heart longed for all of Florida. He desires a new song. Our melody will be agreement with His Word. Our song will be submission to His leadership.
Stand4LIFE is more than an event. It’s a movement. God is raising up an army who will stand, declare and demonstrate the kingdom. It’s time to open our mouth. It’s time to take our place.
If not now, when? If not you, who? The slave trade was abolished because men like William Wilberforce raised their voices and declared the council of the Lord. Public opinion about abortion can be changed in our day. Let’s be a voice in our generation. Come and take your place.
Standing with Him,
Leah Ramirez
